E-Z Ancor Toggle Lock 100 lb Self-Drilling Drywall Anchor
A fast, foolproof no-drill anchor for medium household loads on drywall, but not a substitute for a toggle on truly heavy items.

|---|---|
| Load rating | Up to 100 lb in wall, ~50 lb in ceiling |

Our verdict
These solve different weight classes. The TOGGLER SNAPTOGGLE metal toggle holds far more (up to ~265 lb ultimate) and is the right call for heavy TV mounts, cabinets, and grab bars, but it needs a 1/2 in hole and a bit more effort. The E-Z Ancor Toggle Lock drives in with just a Phillips bit, no pre-drilling, and is perfect for mirrors, shelves, and towel bars up to about 100 lb. Use the toggle when failure would be dangerous or expensive; use the self-drilling anchor for speed on everyday medium loads. Neither replaces hitting a stud when you can.
