The Diablo D0760A is a 60-tooth ATB ultra-finish blade for 7-1/4 in circular saws, built for the cleanest cut when the edge will show. Its thin 0.059 in kerf, TiCo Hi-Density carbide teeth and Perma-SHIELD coating deliver near-sanded crosscuts in oak, pine, veneer plywood and melamine. Best reserved for finish cuts - it is slower and burns more easily than a 40-tooth blade in thick or rip work.
Pros
- Leaves a glass-smooth, chip-free edge that needs little or no sanding
- Perma-SHIELD non-stick coating resists heat, pitch and gum buildup
- Thin 0.059 in laser-cut kerf eases the load on cordless and lower-power saws
Cons
- 60 teeth cut slowly and can burn in thick or rip cuts
- Small gullets clog quickly in resinous or wet stock
- Dulls fast and is overkill for rough framing or nail-embedded wood
